Indulge your passion for all things rail!

With heritage steam train journeys, engines in steam, a miniature railway and displays of heritage rolling stock and railway memorabilia—there’s something for everyone!

Head to Quorn during the ANZAC weekend for fascinating displays, heritage steam train journeys, miniature railway, restoration demonstrations and much more.

This is a special chance for a behind-the-scenes look at the Pichi Richi Railway Preservation Society, where visitors can marvel at our enormous locomotives and original timber-bodied carriages. Watch demonstrations of the restoration process of these massive engines and delicate carriages. See the demanding work involved in repairing track. Experience the coal and the dust!

Take a ‘ride to adventure’ on the original Ghan railway line and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Pichi Richi Pass, with deep rock cuttings, dry stone walls and 19th century bridges.
