Pichi Richi Railway was honoured to host a visit by the Governor of South Australia, His Excellency The Honourable Hieu Van Le AC on 27 June 2017.
His Excellency travelled from Quorn Railway Station to the Quorn Loco Depot in Brill Railcar 106. He inspected the engine shed (including Coffee Pot and NSS34), carriage restoration shed and the new dormitory block (with Pichi Richi Trade Training Centre schoolchildren in attendance), and then returned to the station in RC106. David Fisher and Dion Chandler crewed RC106 for Pichi Richi Railway.
