The unique Coffee Pot celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2005-2006, and Pichi Richi Railway will commemorate this event with special events and luncheon special packages.
Steam Motor Coach No.1, affectionately known as the Coffee Pot, celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2005/2006. It will run a series of luncheon specials over the two years, before retiring for a major overhaul.

COFFEE POT LUNCHEON SPECIAL - Saturday 1 October 2005
Travel the Coffee Pot to the beautifully restored Old Willows Brewery Restaurant in the Pichi Richi Pass for a delicious lunch, then continue on to Woolshed Flat before returning to Quorn. The fare of $110 (first class) and $95 (second class) includes a 2 course lunch, afternoon tea and a souvenir coffee mug. The train will depart Quorn Railway Station at 12.25 pm and return at 4.45pm.
Breakfast Special - Sunday 2 October 2005
On Sunday 2 October, there is a one-off chance to experience a Breakfast Special, travelling one way on the Coffee Pot from Quorn to Port Augusta. The fare of $110 (first class) and $95 (second class) includes a light breakfast at the Old Willows Brewery Restaurant, a souvenir coffee mug and shuttle bus back to Quorn. The train will depart Quorn Railway Station at 6.30am and return at 10am.
PORT AUGUSTA SHUTTLE TRIPS—Sunday 2 October
A chance to experience the Coffee Pot without the usual price tag. 50 minute return trips from Port Augusta to Stirling North, departing Port Augusta Railway Station 10am, 12noon, 2pm & 4pm.
1st class: Adult $24, Concession $21, Child $14
2nd class: Adult $20, Concession $17, Child $10

There are no group discounts available on the Coffee Pot.
Child and concession fares are only available on the shuttle trips, 2 October.
