Hordes of photographers and onlookers are expected at Quorn on Monday 25 April, when Pichi Richi Railway’s ‘Troop Train’ stages a recreation of days gone by, a fitting way to commemorate Anzac Day. Instead of the usual passenger carriages only, this train will recreate the days when thousands of troops moved through the historic town of Quorn. The train will include a mixture of passenger and freight vehicles, including flat beds carrying heritage military vehicles.
