Commonwealth Railways in Quorn: brakevan NYAB15, NIA36 and shunter NB30 in Quorn yard, 1979. NIA36 was being delivered to PRRPS from ANR.

Brill 106 in the locomotive shed at Quorn after delivery from SAR Islington. Taken in 1979, this photo gives a few hints as to the extent of work required to get it back in traffic.

PRR members assemble the temporary crossover track over the standard gauge line at Stirling North, in preparation for the delivery of NSS34 in 1979.

NSS34 is towed over the crossover by NB30. The careful operation is watched by many PRR members, with the exception of the photographer's son, who is standing in the middle of the track in the foreground.

Unloading MIC126 at Quorn, using the station crane, in 1979.This vehicle was returned to service in 2007.
