Track maintenance vehicles used on PRR.
Gemco is used for removing and installing sleepers underneath the rail.
Secton Car N134 propells sleeper trailer, tool trailer and compressor trailer.
A scene at Curve 31 Devils Peak Control Point with the Gemco, track vehicles and track gang. The Gemco first removes the old sleeper and installs the new sleeper under the rails. The track gang follow behind securing the rail to the sleepers with dog spikes. At the end the ballast is packed under the sleeper to prevent any movement.
Packing ballast under the sleepers is one of the many jobs the track gang perform.
