Two steam locomotives mean double the fun!
On Saturday 3 October 2015, two steam-hauled trains will meet in the heart of the Pichi Richi Pass in a spectacle that happens only twice each year: the June and October long weekends.
Board the Afghan Express in Port Augusta at 10:30am for a full-day trip, OR take the Pichi Richi Explorer from Quorn at 10:30am for a half-day trip. Both trains will meet at Woolshed Flat, halfway along the line.
See the two engines and their carriages couple together to haul a combined train back to Quorn.
Refreshments are available to purchase at Woolshed Flat.
Usual fares apply. Please note that both services return 30 minutes later than usual to allow for coupling time.
